JIMHO Drop-in Center

Our Drop-in Center is located on the main floor of our two story building. The drop-in is a
place where one may come 7 days a week to socialize, find support, give support, share,
learn and grow in a comfortable non-judgmental environment. For a more detailed

JIMHO Project Stay

Another service that JIMHO offers is the Project Stay Program. The goal of Project Stay is
to help people receiving mental health services stay in the community. We assist
individuals in finding housing, clothing, food and employment. For a more detailed

Supportive Housing Services

In addition to Project Stay and the Drop-in, JIMHO currently offers Supportive Housing
Services to those we serve. The Supportive Housing Program offers assistance in applying
for homeless vouchers, housing placement, as well as screening and placement for two
separate corporate housing units.

Richard's Place

Richard's Place is a homeless shelter. Richard's Place is available to individuals with a
mental illness diagnosis who because of their illness have often times been taken advantage
of or have found that the other shelters do not work for them. To read more about this and

JIMHO Project Doors

The State of Michigan contracts with JIMHO to offer Project Doors (Developing Our Own
Rehabilitation Services) to the entire state of Michigan. Currently there are fifty-two (52)
consumer operated Drop-in Centers in the State of Michigan. To date there are three (3)
Centers forming in our state. A new addition to Project Doors this year is assisting Drop-in
Centers, who choose to, develop, start, and maintain Self-help and Support Group
