JIMHO is a private non-profit corporation run for and by, both former and current, recipients of mental health services. Our shared experience with mental health services and struggles with mental illness offers a unique opportunity to help others, who struggle, at times, with the affects of being diagnosed with mental illness. We are all unique individuals who have struggled, with the affects of being diagnosed with a mental illness. We strongly believe that recovery is possible. We hold to the idea that every person, no matter their diagnosis, has great worth, unique strengths, dreams, goals and inner wisdom. Inner wisdom is something we strive to bring forth in our lives, as well as the lives of those we serve. We encourage individuals to learn by doing, to reach higher, dream big, and to challenge thoughts that recovery isn't possible. JIMHO offers many services to the individuals we serve. These services include a Drop-in Center, a Project Stay, Supportive Housing, Richard's Place and Project Doors. |
